{ Poor Timing for Hot Weather }

Well, it's your daddy's first Father's Day!!  We got him a new BBQ that he loves and you will appreciate it in due time too.  He loves to BBQ on the weekends with a charcoal grill and smoker.  The problem we have now is the smoker/charcoal grill we have is so small we can only really feed ourselves from it and the propane one is separate.  While your daddy doesn't seem to mind this part I sure do.  Having two different grills means more clutter and more for your daddy to clean, which he hates to do and is unlikely to happen.  So....we got him an all in one!  It has propane on one side, charcoal on the other and a smoke house on the side to be able to smoke stuff.  I have a feeling once this bad boy gets fired up he will be using it all the time!

Now, on to the not so great news....we had both your grandparents over for dinner today, since it was their Father's Day too.  We had turned the AC on in the afternoon for the first time this summer and had it running for hours but for some reason the house didn't cool down.  I didn't think about it right away but once it clicked it my head I realized the damn thing wasn't working!!!

We live in a very hot part of California and these summers are usually over 100 degrees the majority of the time.  This is not the time to be without AC!!!!!
