{ Make it Pink or Make it Blue }

Today we got to find out if you are a baby boy or a baby girl!  It was just your daddy and I at the appointment because we are throwing a gender party in a few weeks announcing to the family what you are. 

When the ultrasound tech pulled up the image of your privates there was no hiding your gender.  Your were spread eagle for the world to see!  As soon as she pointed and said "See that?  It's defiantly a boy!" all I could do was yell out "I told you so!!!"  Your dad was so excited.  He wanted a little boy so bad. 

You are all boy, all ours and perfect in every way!!!  Your are officially out little Turner Robert!

Now lets see if I can keep this a secret for several weeks!! 

{ April Fools...Not This Year }

Mommy loves planning parties and going above and beyond, get ready for it!  So, instead of just telling everyone in a phone call that we were pregnant we decided to get the family together for what they thought was just a regular ol' BBQ.  Little did they know we had a special cake planned for them with an announcement everyone had been waiting for!

We went the whole day like nothing was different.  It was warm that day and I had to wear a sweatshirt to hide my little pooch that was forming but nothing else could have given it away.  After everyone was fat and happy Daddy and I went in the house to get the cake and take off my sweatshirt to reveal my little surprise. 

It was fantastic.  Some cried, some screamed but everyone was thrilled!
